Mrs. W. H. Farrington
Mrs. Elizabeth Wilhelm Farrington, wife of Dr. W. H. Farrington,
of Raubsvile, died at her home there on Saturday evening at
9 o'clock of heart complications, in the 80th year of her age.
Mrs. Farrignton was born on October 8, 1846 and was a daughter
of the late Dr. John H. and Susannah Unangst Wilhelm of Raubsville.
She is survived by her husband and by two sisters, Mrs. Mary
Brittingham of Raubsville, and Mrs. Carrie Bachman, of Brooklyn.
On June 22 last, Dr.a nd Mrs. Farrington celebrated the fiftieth
anniverarsry of their marriage. This celebration marked the
completion of half a century of most happy life together. Dr.
Theophilus Heiling, who preformed the marriage ceremony more
than fifty years ago, is still living in Philadelphia.
Dr. William H. Farrirington, husband of deceased, was a specialist
of note in his profession in New York City for 42 years. For
the past nine years Dr. and Mrs. Farrington lived retired at
their home at Raubsville. The relatives and friends of Mrs.
Farrington deply mourn the passing away of a kindly Christian
woman whose deeds and speech always indicated a kind and generous
heart. |
