Charles Wilhelm, a well known resident of the South Side,
died at 5:30 on Tuesday evening at his home, on Holt Street,
near Centre, after an illness of about four years from a complication
of ailments. He was 65 years of age. Mr. Wilhelm's wife died
about five years ago. Deceased is survived by three daughters,
Miss Grace Wilhelm and Mrs. Henry Heit of this city and Miss
Hazel Wilhelm, who resides in New York State; also by one brother
and three sisters; Samuel Wilhelm, Mrs. Emma Wilhelm, Mrs.
Susan Cyphers and Mrs. Maggie Simons, all of Easton. Mr. Wilhelm
was formerly a bricklayer and plasterer and also was at one
time employed as a trainman on the D. L. & W. Railroad.
For a number of years, he worked at reseating of cane chairs
and furniture repairing. The body was removed to the home of
his son-in-law, Henry Heit, Church Street from where the funeral
will be held. |
