Michael P. Wider
Michael P. Wieder, 77, of 572 Williams St., died yesterday
in Easton Hospital where he was admitted Aug. 11.
Born in Aug. 28, 1893, in Riegelsville, he was a son of the
late Ferman and Jennie Humann Wieder.
Mr. Wieder retired in 1963 as a trainman for the Lehigh Valley
Railroad where he was employed 46 years.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Riegelsville;
the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, Local 85, and Easton
Aerie 111, Franternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include his widow, Elizabeth M. Cyphers Wieder;
a son, Robert P. Willingboro, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. Philip
M. Loftus, Easton; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Strunk
Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Riegelsville Union
Cemetery. |
