Funeral Services Set For Thursday for Pfc. Stanley R. Werkheiser
The body of Pfc. Stanley R. Werkheiser, son of Mrs. Elsie Johnson, of Bath R. D. 2, who was killed in action, Feb. 21, 1945, in Luxembourg, has arrived in this country for burial.

Pfc. Werkheiser entered the service, Jan. 11, 1944, and received basic training at Camp Shelby, Miss, and Fort George G. Meade, Md., before going overseas in July, 1944. Prior to entering the Army, he was employed by the Lone Star Cement Co., Nazareth. He was born in Nazareth July 15, 1916, and was a member of ST. John’s Lutheran Church, Nazareth.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Katherine Stoudt Werkheiser; a son, Richard, and a daughter, *****, both at home, and a brother, Paul, of Nazareth.

The funeral will be held on Thursday with the Rev. H. C. Snyder, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Nazareth, officiating.
