Elsie M. Johnson
Elsie M. Johnson, 61, died yesterday morning at the home of Herbet Florey, of Cross Roads, Bath R. D. 2.
Born in Lower Nazareth Township on Jan 30, 1893, Mrs. Johnson was a daughter of the late Erwin and SavillaJohnson. She had resided at Cross Roads for the last 16 years.
She was a member of the Lutheran wing of Salem Union Church, Moorestown, and Unit 25, Mothers of World War II, Hecktown.
Surviving are a son, Paul Werkheiser, of Havertown; a brother, Edwin Johnson, of Coplay R. D1; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Gradwhol of Bethlehem R. D1, and Mrs. Milton Bickel, of Wilson, and seven grandchildren. Another son was killed in the European Theater during World War II.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Knecht Funeral Home, Nazareth.

Rites for Elsie Johnson
Funeral services for Elsie M. Johnson, who died Wednesday the home of Herbert Florey, of Cross Roads, Bath R. D2, were held Saturday afternoon at the Knecht Funeral Home, Nazareth.
The Rev. Donald H. Hiest, pastor of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Snydersville. Officiated. Interment was in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown.
Members of Unit 25, Mothers of World War II, Hecktown, conducted services Friday night at the funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Frank Hahn, Floyd and Roy Gradwohl and George Abel.
