Miss Helen Weaver of Easton, Was 72
Miss Helen R. Weaver, 732, formerly of 311 S. 6th St., Easton,
died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon at the Easton YWCA.
Miss Weaver lived at the Sixth Street address for 37 years.
She resided at Hotel Easton for the last week.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Mr.and Mrs.
W. S. Weaver. Her brother, the late Charles K. Weaver, operated
Weaver's Hardware Store in Easton for many years.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ and the
King's Daughters of the church; the Daughters of the American
Revolution, and the Buiness and Professional Women's Club.
Her nearst relatives are a niece and a nephew. Another brother,
Frank Weaver, also died before her.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Shilinger
Funeral Home, Easton. |
