Henry C. Unangst
Herny C. Unangst, 69 years old, a retired Pennsylvania Railroad
Company employee, who made is home with is daughter, Mrs.
A. H. Griffith, of 2148 hay street, died this morning in
Easton Hosptial. His wife, Mrs. Mary E. Unnagst, died two
years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Griffith, with whom he resided;
a son; Edward F. Unangst, and a brother, Charles H. Unangst,
of Easton. He also leaves three grandchildren and one great
grandchild.
Mr. Unangst was born in Forks Township, a son of the late
Charles H. and Sophia Unangst and had resided in this vicinity
all his life. He was a clerk for the Pennsylvania Railroad
for 50 years and was retired on a pension on Feb. 1, 1938.
He had been confined to his bed for eight weeks and was admitted
to the hospital on Jan 17 for medical treatment. He was a
member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Easton, and Camp 3,
P.O. S. of A., of Phillipsburg. |
