George L. Uhler, 80, Hellick Co. Saleman
George Luther Uhler, 80, oa retired salesman for the George F. Hellick Coffee Co., died early today at his home, 1930 Hay Terrance, Wilson.
Born in Bethlehem Township on December 28, 1875, he was a so of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Heil Uhler. He had been in failing health for six months
Mr. Uhler was employed by the coffee firm from 1919 until his retirment in 1944. He was of the Lutheran faith.
Mr. Uhler and his wife, the former Flora Edna Gruver, observed their 52nd wedding anniversary last September 22. The were married in Easton.
Surviving, besides his widow, are two daughters, Mrs. James H. Jeffery and Mrs. Lawrence R. Dietrick, of Wilson; a brother, Herman, of Wilson; two sisters, Mrs. Clyde Young, of Wilson and Mrs. Emma Keim, of Philadelphia, and one granddaughter.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Bender Funeral Home, Easton. |
