Mrs. Jeffery, Wife of President of Wilson Council.
Mrs. Bertha E. Jeffery, 63, of 1841 Hay Ter., Wilson was dead
on arrival Saturday at Easton Hospital. She was in Ill health
nine years.
Mrs. Jeffery was the wife of James H. Jeffery, president of
the Wilson Borough Council.
Born in Bethlehem, March 24, 1905, she was a daughter of the
late George L. and Flora E. Gruver Uhler.
She was a graduate of Wilson High School and was a member
of Calvary Memorial United Methodist Church and its Ever Ready
Sunday School class.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Conrad F. Mills Jr., Wilson,;
a sister, Mrs. Lawrence Dietrick, Wilson, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wedneseday at the Ashton
funeral Home, Easton.
