Parker P. Uhler, 77, of 726 North Eighth Street, Allentown, a former employee of Freihofer’s Bakery, Allentown, died yesterday at Allentown Osteopathic Hospital.
Mr. Uhler was born in Farmersville, Northampton County, a son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Uhler. In his younger life, he was a pretzel baker, and later worked as a silk weaver. He retired from the baker in Allentown about four years ago. He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Allentown.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William Blose, with whom he resided; two sons, George D., of Reading and **** Allentown; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Keim, Philadelphia; Mrs. Helen Young and Mrs. Esther Leh, both of Easton; two brothers, Herman and George both of Easton, and eight grandchildren. |
