David Strunk, 64, Ex-Dixie Employee
David G. Strunk, 64, Sandts Eddy, Easton R.D. 1, died this morning in Wyoming Valley Hospital, Wilkes Barre, where he was a patient several weeks. He was in ill health eight weeks.

Mr. Strunk was a re-inspector for the Dixie Cup Division of the American Can Co. 20 years retiring last year. He formerly was employed 22 years by C.K. Wiliams Coal Co.

Born Aug, 24, 1902, in Broadway, N.J., he was a son of the late William Strunk and Jennie Rymond Strunk Kocher.

Survivors include his widow, the former Marie S. McElhone; three sons, a sister, Mrs. Anna M. Sholley, Easton, and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.
