Former Hospital Nurse Here Dies in Brooklyn
Mrs. Margaret Stocker Fuchs, native of Cementon, who was on
the nursing staff of the Allentown hospital during the post-World
war years, died unexpectedly Sunday night at her home, 1176
Troy Ave., Brooklyn, N.Y. She was in her 42 years.
A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert R. Stocker, who reside at
1344 Chew St., she lived in Cementon until she was 13 years
old and then came to Allentown. She was a nurse at Allentown
hospital from 1917 to 1921, and has resided in Brooklyn since.
Surviving her besides her parents are her husband, Dr. Felix
B. Fuchs, a son, Richard, and a daughter, Lenore, all of Brooklyn;
the following sisters and brothers, Wilbur and Donald Stocker,
Mrs. Charles Dell, Mrs. John Weiss, Mrs. Harry Dell, all of
Allentown, and Mrs. George Newhard of Miami, Fla.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Brooklyn. |
