Madeline B. Dries, 85, died Friday in Valley Manor Nursing
Center, Coopersburg. She was the wife of the late William J.
Dries.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Albert and
Emma (Feurich) Stocker.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Allentown.
Survivors: Sons, William D. of Tacoma, Wash., and Bruce V.
of St. Petersburg, Fla.; daughters, Elaine N., wife of Roland
Harrier Jr. of Allentown, Shirley Ann, wife of Raymond Whitner
Jr. of North Wales, Montgomery County, Susanne E., wife of
Edward R. Schultes of Whitehall Township, and Louise, wife
of David M. Samuels of Schnecksville; brother, Donald N. of
Center Valley; sister, Mrs. Charlotte Dell of Emmaus; 23 grandchildren
and 29 great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Neil
E.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Egypt United Church of Christ,
Whitehall. No calling hours. Arrangements, Trexler Funeral
