Henry Beyer
Henry Beyer, a retired electrical engineer and a former resident
of Easton, died on Monday at his home, 625 North 52nd Street,
Philadelphia.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. A son of the late George A and
Elizabeth Horner Beyer. Mr. Beyer had been a resident of Philadelphia
since 1905 and was a graduate of Worcester polytechnic School,
Worcester, Mass. He also attended the Brooklyn schools.
Up to the time of his retirement, he was assistant manager
of the Crock-Wheeler Company in Philadelphia. He was the last
surviving member of his family and was a member of the Lutheran
church of the Resurrection, Philadelphia.
Mr. Beyer is survived by his widow, Mrs. Stella Stocker Beyer,
daughter of the late Sydenham and Emma Rice Stocker, of this
city. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 11
o'clock to the Pittenger Funeral Parlors, Northampton Street
at 18th. Interment in Hay's Cemetery, South side.

Funeral of Henry Beyer
The funeral of Henry Beyer, formerly of Easton and husband
of Stella Stocker Beyer, who died in Philadelphia on Monday,
was held at 11 o'clock this morning at the parlors of Ralph
R Pittenger, Eighteenth and Northampton Streets, Wilson. The
Rev. George A Creitz, pastor of the First Evangelical Reformed
Church, conducted the services and interment was made in Hay's
Cemetery South Side. |
