Frank R Smull, 77, Furniture Craftsman
Frank Raymond Smull, 77, co-owner of Smull & Sampson, furniture
repairing and refinishing firm in Easton, died at 9:30 p.m.
yesterday in Easton Hospital. He was hospitalized on Sunday.
Mr. Smull resided at the home of his niece, Mrs. Herman A.
Altenkirch, 1238 Lehigh Street.
Mr. Smull was a finisher and cabinet maker for the Lehr Piano
Co. at 12th and Butler streets for many years. In 1931 he and
Conan Sampson established the firm of Smull & Sampson.
Born Feb 28, 1882 in Easton he was a son of the late Daniel
and Elizabeth Hay Smull.
Mr. Smull was a member and former President of POS of A 407,
Easton. He was a life member of the Weston Club.
In Addition to Mrs. Altenkirch, he leaves four other nieces,
Mrs. Joseph Causa and Mrs. Walter Weaver both of Easton; Mrs.
Frank Capanna, York and Mrs. William Richmond, Red Bank, N.J.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bender
Funeral Home, Easton. |
