Freeman Smith
Freeman Smith, 63, a farmer and bricklayer, died today at 1:40
a.m. at his home, Nazareth R.D. 2. He was born Oct 2, 1885,
in Ross Township, a son of the late William and Amanda Gruver
smith. Mr. Smith was a member of Jehovah Lutheran church, Bushkill
Center.
Surviving are his wife, Eva Agnes Davidson Smith; five sons,
Harold and Clayton, both of Nazareth R. D. 3; Wilbert, of Easton
and Lester and Russell, both of Nazareth R. D2; five daughters,
Mrs. Michael Chavon, of Lake Hopatcong, N.J; Mrs. Walter Able.,
Mrs. George Scott and Mrs. Paul Warner, all of Easton, and
Mrs. Herbert Boyer, of Nazareth; two brothers, Adam Smith,
of Nazareth R.D1 and Israel Smith, of Nazareth R.D3, also 19
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Jehovah
Church. The Rev. Luther Klick will officiate at the rites and
burial will be in Bushkill Center cemetery. |
