Kenneth F. Sherry, 99, of Moravian House, Bethlehem, died
Saturday, April 7, in Lehigh Valley Hospital--Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.
He was the husband of the late Gertrude V. (Shankweiler) Sherry.
He worked for the Bethlehem Globe Times Newspaper as a line-a-
type operator for 43 years before retiring in 1966. Previously,
he worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Samuel W. and
Rosa (Anewalt) Sherry.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
He played soccer for Bethlehem Steel Soccer Club and Scottish
Team touring USA.
Survivors: Three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren;
nephew. He was predeceased by a son, Richard S.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden
St., Bethlehem. Call 10-11 a.m. Wednesday.
