Raymond Seip, 60, Operated Hotel in Frenchtown
Raymond J. Seip, sr., 60, owner of the National Hotel in Frenchtown,
died today at his home, 29 Race St., Frenchtown. He had been
ill three months.
Mr. Seip had been proprietor of the hotel and a resident of
Frenchtown for the last 16 years.
Born in Easton, he ws a son of the late Harry G. and Belle
Garren Seip. He was the husband of Mrs. Loretta Schraff Seip.
Mr. Seip was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church, Milford;
Phillipsburg Lodge 395, Benevelent and Protective Order of
Elks and Easton Lodge 65, Loyal Order of Moose. He was treasurer
of the United Tavern Owners of New Jersey and a member of the
New Jersey State Hotel Association.
Survivng in addition to his widow are two sons, John Dale
and Raymond J. Jr., both of Frenchtown, and four grandchldren.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Johnson
Funeral Home, Frenchtown, followed by a Requiem High Mass at
10 a.m. in St. Edward's Catholic Church, Milford. |
