George K. Schaeffer
George K. Schaeffer, 83, of 3339 Meandering Way, Tellahassee,
Fla., died at 12:20 p.m. Saturday in Westminister Oaks, Tallahassee,
where he had resided since April 10.
He was the husband ofMay W. (Weidenhammer) Schaeffer.
Born in Richmond Township, he was a son of the late William
B. and Margaret (Kreidler) Schaeffer.
He was a forester for the U.S. Forest Service, Atlanta, Ga.,
for over 30 years retiring in 1969.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a 1932 greaduate of North Caroline State University.
Other survivors incude a son, a daughter,
two
brothers, Earl T., Kutztown, and Paul K., Reading.
There are also seven grandchildren.
The Trexler-Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, is in charge of
