Mrs. Lucinda Harmony
Relatives and friends were shocked to learn Saturday of the sudden death of Mrs. Lucinda Harmony, of Freemansburg, the oldest sister of the late Adam W. Sandt, of Allentown.
Mrs. Harmony, who was about 76 years of age, lived alone in a cozy home with garden and orchard. She had never been sick. When neighbors failed to see her about usual Saturday morning they made an investigation, when she was found dead on the floor. It is thought death was due to heart failure from an attack of acute indigestion.
Mrs. Harmony was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Sandt and was born at the old family homestead at Sandt’s Eddy on the North Delaware River road, sever miles north of Easton. Her husband, Joseph Harmony died about eight years ago. For some years, before her marriage and after the death of her husband, she was a resident of Allentown.
She never had any children. The Survivors are two brothers, and one sister, Matthew Sandt of Allentown and John and Elizabeth Sandt of Easton. |
