Mrs. Edward C. Brinker
Mrs. Kate Maranda Brinker, wife of Edward C. Brinker, sr., the school teacher, died at 6:40 last evening at her home, No. 415 High Street, in the 64th year of her age. Mrs. Brinker had been a sufferer form diabetes, but on January 19 she fell and fractured one of her shoulder and several ribs. Her condition grew steadily worse after that.

Born in Sandt’s Eddy, Lower Mt. Bethel Township, Mrs. Brinker was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Sandt, deceased. She is survived by her husband and the following children _ Edward C. Brinker, Jr., Wilson D. Brinker, Easton; Elwood S. Brinker, Westfield, Mass.; Earl A. Brinker, Easton; Mrs. Lizzie May, wife of C. Edward Miller, Altoona; Mrs. Katie E., wife of Herbert Yahraes, Easton, and Miss Grace Brinker, Easton. She also leaves two brothers and two sisters.—Mathew Sandt, of Allentown; John Sandt, of Easton; Mrs. Lucinda Harmony, Allentown, and Miss Elizabeth A. Sandt, Easton.

For many years, Mrs. Brinker was an active member of Grace Reformed Church and the Ladies’ Aid Society of that congregation.

Note: some children listed in obit are from Edward's first marriage to Emma Keim.
