Eloise R. Mertz
Eloise R. Mertz, 85, of Hawthorne at Leesburg, Florida, passed
away Tuesday, November 15. Born in Easton, Eloise and her husband
moved to Leesburg in 1981 from Bethlehem. Eloise was a member
of Christ United Church of Christ in Bethlehem and attended
Morrison United Methodist Church in Leesburg. She was active
in the activities at Hawthorne.
Survivors: Husband, William Bill Mertz of Leesburg; daughter,
three grandchildren, a great-granddaughter,
and daughter-in-law Phyllis Cleveland of Silver Springs,
Md. Eloise is predeceased by her son Craig, who died at age
32 in an automobile accident.
Services: memorial, Monday, November 21 in Hawthorne Memorial
Gardens, Leesburg, with the Rev. Irwin Price officiating. Page-
Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, is in charge of the arrangements.
