Mrs. Sarah Reimer Speer
Mrs. Sarah Reimer Speer, widow of Emery Speer died on Saturday
at 10:30 p.m. at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Dr.
and Mrs. C. E. Gold, 22 Market Street, Bangor of general debility,
aged 83. Her husband died 20 years ago. She was a native of
Upper Mt. Bethel Township and had been a resident of Bangor
for the past 58 years. She was a charter member of St. John’s
Reformed church. Her survivors include three daughters, Mrs.
Gold, Mrs. Willis R. Jordan, Mrs. Everett Kent , one son, Reimer
Speer, all of Bangor; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The funeral will take place at the Gold Residence tomorrow
at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. E. W. Lentz, pastor ofSt. John’s
Reformed Church, officiating. Interment in St. John’s
cemetery, Bangor.
