John D. Reimer
John D. Reimer, 86, a life-long resident of Stone church, Upper
Mt. Bethel Township, and one of the oldest residents of that
section died yesterday afternoon at his home there.
He was a farmer practically all his life, retiring from active
work only a few years ago. He was one of the oldest member
of Christ Reformed church, Stone Church.
He is survived by two sons, the Rev. William Reimer, with
whom he resided and Daniel Reimer of Stone Church; by four
daughters, Mrs. ? Rosenberry, Stone Church, Mrs. Luther Yetter,
Bangor, Mrs. Alice King, New York City, and Mrs. Evare Ritchie,
Harrisburg; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and
one sister, Mrs. Harriet Kiefer, Easton.
Funeral services will be held at the home on Saturday at 1:30
p.m. with further services in Christ Reformed Church, Stone
chuch, at 2 p.m. in charge of the Rev. John O. Reagle. Interment
will be made in Centreville cemetery.
