Josephine Browne, 83, formerly of Greenwood Avenue, Palmer
Township, died Sunday in Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation
Center, Palmer Township. She was the wife of the late Sydney
Browne.
For several years, she was a self-employed bookkeeper and
a cafeteria worker at Easton High School.
Born in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Daniel
and Carrie (Cyphers) Reagan.
She was a member of Palmer Township Moravian Church.
Survivors: Niece and nephew. She was predeceased by a son
Gary.
Services: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and
Northampton streets, Easton.

Palmer Twp., PA - Josephine Browne, 83, formerly of Greenwood
Avenue, died Sunday in leader Nursing and Convalescent center
in Palmer township.
She had been a cafeteria worker in easton Area high School
for several years. She was also a former bookkeeper.
Born July 27, 1908, in Phillipsburg, she was a duaghter of
the late Daniel and carrie Cyphers reagan.'
She was a member of Palmer Township Moravian Church in Palmer

Her husband, Sydne Browne, and a son, Gary Browne, both died
earlier.
Survivng are nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. today in Ashton Funeral
Home in Easton. Interment will be in Northampton memorial Shrine
in Palmer Township. |
