Mrs. Sem Beck
Mrs. Frances R. Beck, 77, formerly of 8 Center Square, Nazareth, died Monday in the Evangelical Community Hosptial, Lewisburg, Pa., where shehad been admitted earlier inthe dcay. She had been a guest at the united methodist Home in Lewisburg for the past 5 1/2 years.

Born in Ruabsville, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Cordia Major Raub.

Her husband, Sem G. Beck, died in December 1969.

Mrs. Beck was a member of St. John's Lutehran Church, Nazareth, and the Senior Woman's Club and American Legion Post 415 Ladies Auxiliary, both in Nazareth.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bankert*, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Alice Herr*, Bird-in-Hand; Mrs. Virginia Gold, Lewisburg, and Mrs. Louise Snyder, Nazareth; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at the convenience of the family Saturday from the St. John's Lutheran Church in Nazareth. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. Arrangmentns are being made by the schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth.

*Note: Sem Beck was previous married, Elizabeth and Alice mentioned above were his daughters from a previous marriage.
