Mrs. Effie Elizabeth Wilcox
Mrs. Effie Elizabeth Wilcox, widow of George B. Wilcox, did
at her home at Portland yesterday afternoon, aged 71. Mrs.
Wilcox had been a resident of Portland for the past 40 years.
She was a member of the Portland Baptist Church, Her husband
who was a postmaster at Portland, died last April. She is survived
by a son, Russell Henry Wilcox, of Portland; three grandchildren
and three brothers, William and Marshall Parr, of Pueblo Colo.,
and Gershom Parr, of Washington, NJ.
The fuenral will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m., at her home,
with continued services in the Portland Baptist Church in
charge of the Rev. G.B. Nance. Interment, Riverview cemetery,
Portland. |
