Lloyd Osterstock, 53, Succumbs to Injuries
Lloyd Osterstock , 53, of 26 Walnut Street, Nazareth died at
Easton Hospital at 8:35 p.m. yesterday as a result of injuries
he suffered when he was struck by an autombile in Nazareth
on Friday.
Mr. Osterstock wqs born in Forks Township on Oct. 30, 1894,
a son of Mrs. Emma W. Osterstock and the late Asher J. Osterstock.
He was employed as a burner at the Nazareth Cement Co. A veteran
of service in the Navy during World War I.l He was a ember
of the Nazareth Post, AmericanLegion, and was a former junior
vice-commander of the past. He was a member of Vigilance Hose
Co. and the Democratic Club of Nazareth.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eleanor
Morris Osterstock; two sons, Lloyd Jr. and Robert at home;
a daughter, Mrs. John Cunningham, of Bethlehem; a brothers,
Raymond, of Nazareth; a sister, Mrs. Howard Rinker, Easton
R.D. 2 and one grandchild.
Military funeral services will beheld Thur4sday at 2 p.m.
at the bartholomew funeral home, 211 East Center Street, Nazareth,
with the Rev. W.A. Diehl officiating.Interment will be in Northampton
Memorial Shrine. |
