Mrs. Chester J. Shimer
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Shimer, 58 years old, wife of Chester J.
Shimer, of Hilton and Valley street, died at 3:15 o'clock yesterday
afternoon at Easton Hospital. She was admistted on Nov. 26
for medical treatment.
Mrs. Shimer was born in Easton, a daughter of the late Eugene
J. and Mary Barr Mutchler.
She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Marshall
Gregory, Easton; a son Eugene J. Shimer, a private at Fort
George meade, Maryland; three grandchildren; Bruce and Alice
and Rollo Gregory; two brothers, Harry J. Mutchler and Raymond
Mutchler, and two sisters, Mrs. James Rute and Mrs. Russell
Leonard, all of Easton.
She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Reformed Church. |
