Thomas Moser
Thomas Moser, a well known resident of Phillipsburg, who
served 53 years as an employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad
Company, a long time in the capacity of conductor, and was
retired five years ago, died at 10:35 this morning at the
home of his son-in-law, Charles D.Ginder, 153 Bullman street.
He was 75 years old in March last.
Mr. Moser was born in Phillipsburg, and he resided here
all his life. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse
Moser, his father having served a long gime as yardmaster
her for the Pennsylvania Railroad Company.
Deceased had been in declining health about one year and
was bedfast one month. Besides his daughter, Mrs. Ginder,
he is survived by two brothers, Edward Moser, Phillipsburg,
and Jonas Moser, of Allentown. He was a member of the Reformed
Church, Camp 3, P. O. of A.; Easton Aerie of Eagles, Brotherhood
of Railroad Conductors and the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief
Association. |
