Josiah J. Moser Dies at Belvidere
Josiah J. Moser aged 56 years died last evening at 6:03 o'clock
at his home, Fourth street, Belvidere, following a five weeks
illness. He was born in Phillipsburg and had been a resident
of Belvidere the past 43 years. When a young man he entered
the employ of the Pennsylvania railroad and worked for that
corporation for 47 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran
church, Easton and the Sr. O.U.A.M., P.O.S. of A., 32nd degree
Masons, of Belvidere; Royal Order of Buffalos of Easton and
the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs.
W.C. Smith and Mrs. Jacob Hess, of Belvidere, and a son,
Arthur Moser of Lambertville; also three brothers, Jonas
Moser of Allentown, Pa., and Thomas Moser and Edward Moser,
both of Phillipsburg. |
