Evelyn Bryson, 95, formerly of 42 Valley View Circle, Philipsburg, died Wednesday, May 1, in the Care Center of Phillipsburg.

She was a bookkeeper for the J. T. Baker Chemical Co. in Phillipsburg and Craft Rug Mill in Easton.

Born May 7, 1910, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Laura Mae Frankenfield Mengel.

She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Easton.

Her husband, Edward died in 1974.

Surviving are a brother, Robert of Palmer Township; and four nieces.

A brother, the Rev. Harry Mengel, died earlier.

Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
