William H. Meixell
William H. Meixell, of 106 North Warren Street, this city,
died at the Easton Hospital at 3;30 o’clock yesterday
afternoon. He was admitted to the hospital for surgical treatment
on Saturday and was 76 years of age. Mr. Meixell was born in
Monroe county but had spent nearly all his life in Easton.
He was employed as a watchman at the Bush & Bull store
for 23 years, but retired four years ago. Deceased was a member
of the First Evangelical Congregational Church, Easton.
Meixell is survived by his wife, two children, Stewart Meixell,
of Phillipsburg, and Mrs. Howard Nelms, at home; a sister,
Mrs. Alice Doughty, of Easton; a grandson, Earl Meixell, and
a great-grandson, Earl Meixell, Jr. of Easton. |
