Lillian S. Decker, ex-Easton teacher and principal.
Lillian S. decker, 93, of Eastwood Convalescent HOme in Wilson,
Pa., died Friday in the home.
She was a teacher for many years in the Easton Area School
District and served as principal of Asa Packer School for 1946
until retiring in 1959.
Born April 18, 1896 in Sayre, Pa., she was a duaghter of the
late Robert and Jennie Mutchler Meade.
She was a ember of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in wilson
and a life member of Retired School and Emloyees assciation
in Easton and member of DAR, Women's Club and Northampton County
Historical Society, all in Easton.
Her husband, W. Lee Decker died in 1983.
Surviving are a niece and nephew.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Ashton Funeral Home
in Easton. Interment will be in Hay's Cemetery in Easton. |
