Claude R. Laros, Jr.
Claude R. Laros, Jr., 60 formerly of 501 Reeder St., Easton, died Tuesday in
Mount Laurel Nursing home, Cherry Hill, N.J.
He was an engineer and draftsman at the former Lehigh Inc.,
now Ecolaire, West Easton.
Born in Easton he was a son of the late Claude R. Laros Sr.
and Roxie Marsh Laros.
A 1940 graduate of Easton High school, he was graduated from
Lafayette College with the Class of 1944 and received his bachelor
of science degree in machanical engineering in 1945. He served
with the U. S. Navy from 1944 unil 1946 aboard the USS Prince
William in the the Pacific and the Atlantic theathers.
Mr. Laros was a member of Grace United Church of Christ; Dallas
Ldoge 396, F&AM, and Tall Cedars of Lebanon 35, all of
Easton, an Lehigh consistory AASR, Allentown. He was a member
of Lester Pfeffer American Legion post 611, Wilson, and the
former member of the Pomfret Club, Easton.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Norman Staats, Haddenfield, N.J.
Services will be held at 11 .am. Saturday in the Clements
Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial
Shrine, Palmer Township.
