Mrs. Christina Louisa
Hay
Mrs. Christina Louisa Hay, widow of the late Thomas J. Hay, died
of paralysis at 8:20 this morning at the residence of Dr. A.L.
Kotz, her son-in-law, High and Reeder streets, College Hill, in
the 77th year of her age. She had been in ill health during the
past year. The deceased was a native of Plainfield Township and
was a daughter of the late Thomas W. and Susan Kreidler. She had
been a resident of Easton since 1852. Her huband, who died April
21, 1900, was for many years engaged in the grocery business on
West Northampton Street. Mr.s Hay is survived by one son, Thomas
A. L. Hay, prothonotary of Northampton County, and one Daughter,
Mrs. A. L. Kotz, also of this city. She is also survived by two
grandaughters and by one brother and three sisters - Thomas Kreidler
and Miss Susan C. Kreidler, of Fleetwood, Berks County; Mrs. Elizabeth
Hay, of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Mrs. Margaret Brown, of Palmer Township.
The deceased was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. The funeral
will be held at the residence of Dr. A. L. Kotz on Friday afternoon
at 2 o'clock.
