Russell Williams Krantz, 71, of 7 Ambler Road, Cherry Hill
N.J. died unexpectedly at his home Monday.
He was region traffic manager of Sears Roeback Co, and retired
six years ago from Automotive Rentals, Merchantville.
He was born in Easton, Aug. 20, 1892, a son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Garibaldi Krantz, he has lived in Chery Hill for 10
years.
He was a veteran of World War II during which time he was
lieutenant colonel with the Transportation Corps at the Pentagon.
He belonged to the Lehigh Valley Traffic Club and the Philadelphia
Traffic Club. He was also a member of the National fishing
Club of Phildelphia and F. W. Gregg Post 68, American Legion,
Merchantville.
Survivors are his widow, Edna May Glackin Krantz a daughter,
Mrs. Elwood G. Stetler, Palmyra, N.J., a son, Russell W. Jr.
of Abington, Pa., a sister, Miss Elizabeth Krantz of Easton,
and seven grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Stephenson
Funeral Home, Merchantville. |
