Clark Krantz, Retired City Employee, Dies
Formerly Executive Director of Easton Parking Associates
Clark Raymond Krantz, 78, former executive director of Easton
Parking Associates and retired City of Easton Employ, died
early this morning at Nazareth R.D. 1.
He formerly resided at 532 Northampton St. He was in ill health
three years.
Mr. Krantz retired as executive director of Easton Parking
Associates a year ago because of ill health. He was city license
tax collector of 20 years, retiring from that post in 1955.
Mr. Krantz was defeated when he was the Democratic nominee
for Easton City Council in the 1930's.
He had been financial secretary of the Jacksonian democratic
Club for 30 years.
He was an amateur magician.
Born on Nov. 16, 1883, in Bangor, he was a son of the late
Garibaldi and Catherine Williams Krantz.
Surviving are his widow, the former Laura M. Horn; a stepson,
Calvin T. Metzgar, Easton; a sister, Miss Elizabeth S. Krantz,
Easton, and two brothers, Walter A., Easton and Russell, Merchantville,
N.J. A sister, Mrs. Walter F. Bast, died June 30.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the bender Funeral
Home, Easton. |
