Mrs. Granville Kichline, 93
Mrs. Margaret (Maggie) Knoble Kichline, 93, a resident of Williams
Township practically all her life, died tis morning at 5 o'clock
at the home of her son-inplaw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
W. Heft, of Hellertown R.D. 1.
Mrs. Kichline, the widow of Granville Kichline, lived with
her daughter for the last year and one-half. She had been in
failing health for the last year.
Born Oct 26, 1859, in Williams Township, she was a daughter
of the late John and Esther Hoover Knoble. For more than 50
years, she leased space in the Circle Market in Easton. She
was a member of the Evangelical Reformed wing of St. Luke's
(Old Williams) Church. Her husband died 37 years ago.
Survivng, in additon to Mrs. Heft, are another duaghter, Mrs.
John Kunsman, of Bethlehem R.D. 1; two sons, Victor and Floyd,
both of Easton R. D. 4; a brother, Asher Knoble, of Easton;
24 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the
Templeton funeral home, Hellertown. The Rev. Dr. E. O. Butkofsky,
pastor of Christ Evangelical Reformed Church, Hellertown, will
officate. Interment will be in Old Williams Cemetery. |
