Jacob Kline
Jacob Kline, who for many years conducted a blacksmith shop
at 23 North Ninth Street, died last night at 6 o’clock
at his home, 39 South Ninth Street, after an illness of five
weeks. He was in the 65th year of his age.
Mr. Kline was born in Lower Mt. Bethel Township and was
a son of the late Jacob and Catherine Hahn Kline. He had
been a resident of Easton for 40 years and lived in the home
in which he passed away for 22 years.
His wife, Mrs. Laura Miller Kline, died on Saturday last
and her funeral took place on Tuesday. Mr. Kline is survived
by one daughter, Mrs. Lester Allshouse of Easton, and two
sons, John H. Kline, of Easton, and Philip M. Kline of Bethlehem.
He also leaves two brothers, William Kline, of Easton, and
Samuel Kline of Stamford, Conn., and two grandchildren.
Deceased was a ember of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church,
Vanderveer, Lodge, 1005, I. O. O. F; Easton Lodge, 15 Loyal
Order of Moose, and Teedyuscung Tribe, 17, Improved Order
of Red Men, Phillipsburg
