Krantz - On Sunday mroning, November 20, Mrs. Sabina Krantz,
wife of Vealentine Krantz, of 1428 Butler Street, died at
the home of his son Garibalkdi, at Lehigh and Maple streets.
The deceased was in her seventy-second year. The report circulated
that she had died from the effoct of poison is all the surest
nonsense, as all who are familiar with the facts of her illness
and death will testify to.
Mrs. Krantz attended to her household duties uncomplainingly.
On Thursday the 10th instant, she assisted her son Garibaldi
in moving. She caught a heavy cold the day being wet and disagreeable,
but in a day or two was again able to be up and about, although
she was very weak as a result of the illness. On Tuesday, the
15th, she was again attacked by pneumonia, and died at the
time named above. Doctors who attended her certified to her
death from pneumonia, this dismissing as idle talk all rumors
and reports that her death was "mysterious".
Mrs. Krantz is survived by her husband, three sons and a daughter
- Calvin, Garibaldi, and Elmer G. Krantz, and Mrs. Paul Mahn.
The remians were interred on Wednesday last night in the Easton
Cemetery after services in Zion's Lutheran Church. |
