Arling J. Kiefer, Mt. Bethel Farmer
Arling J. Kiefer Sr., 76, of Bangor R.D. 3, died yesterday
at his home.
Born in Lower Mount Bethel Township, he was a son of the late
Herbert and Emma Galloway Kiefer.
His wife the former Grace M. Good, Died April 5. The couple
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 15, 1970.
Mr. Keifer retired from farming in January 1954.
He was a member of Mount Zion United Church of Christ, Martin
Creek; Portland Lodge 311, F & AM: Tall Cedars of Lebanon,
Easton Forest No. 35, and Lehigh Consistory, Allentown.
Survivors include two sons, one daughter, 13 grandchildren
and nine great-grandchildren.
Fuenral services ill be at 1:30 p.m. Monday form the Reed
Funeral Home, Johnsonville, Interment will be in the Church
Hill Cemetery, Martins Creek, Portland Lodge 311, F&AM,
services will be at 8 p.m. tomorrow. |
