Harold C. Houck
Harold C. Houck, 70, of 2723 John St., died this morning
at the Northampton Convalescent Center where he was admitted
last Thu4rsday. He was in ill health seven years.
Mr. Houck was last employed as a guard at the Taylor-Wharton
Co. by the Coley Detective Agency for the last four years.
He formerly operated a decorating service in Fort Lauderdale,
Fla., and was a bus driver for the Lehigh Valley Transit
co.
Born in Raubsville, on April 16, 1907, he was a so f the
late Ezra and Lillie Bauer Houck.
He was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his widow, the former Ann Smith, a sister,
Mrs. Areitta Cooper, Washington, N.J. and several nieces.
The funeral will beheld at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Ashton
Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial
Shrine
