South Side Woman, 77, Found dead in Bed
Mrs. Elizabeth Heavener, 77, who resided alone at 641 Holt Street, South side, was found dead in bed at her home yesterday at 6:30 p.m. by Sgt. Arthur Haring, of the Easton Police Department. The police where called to investigate, when neighbors reported that they had not seen Mrs. Hevener all day.
Dr. D. F. Bachman, Northampton County coroner, said that death had occurred sometime between 3 and 6 a.m. yesterday and as caused by cardiac failure.
Mrs. Heavener was born in Wilson, and had resided in this vicinity her entire life. She is survived by two sons, John and Theodore Bonstein, of Easton, and four grandchildren.

Rites For Mrs. Hevener
Funeral rites for Mrs. Elizabeth Hevener, of 641 Holt Street, who died Wednesday at her home, were conducted today at 1 p.m. at the Adams home, 226 Bushkill Street. The Rev. Samuel J. Jaxheimer, of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, officiated. Interment was in Easton Heights Cemetery.
