Oscar B. Herman, 86, of Luther Crest, Allentown, formerly of Bethlehem, died Wednesday in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Ruth A. (Fulmer) Herman and the late Florence I. (Brotzman) Herman.

He worked in the rolling mills of Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 39 yeas until retiring in 1972.

Born in Lower Saucon Township, he was a son of the late Stewart and Ida (Wagner) Herman.

Survivors: Wife; son, James S. of St. Louis, Mo., and two granddaughters.

Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Lester S. Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden St., Bethlehem. No calling hours.
