William T. Gruver
William Theodore Gruver, 60 years old, 1322 Spring Garden Street, a well known resident of this city, died at Dr. Betts’ Hospital at 12:45 o’clock this morning from complications, after an illness of three weeks. He was admitted to that institution for medical treatment on Thursday last.

He was born in Easton and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Gruver. He was a resident of this city all his life and for many years was sales manager of this district in the employ of the Arbgast & Bastian Meat Company of Allentown. During his stay with that company, Mr. Gruver made a host of friends who held him in high esteem.

He was very prominent in fraternal organizations and was a member of the Knights of Malta; Knights of Pythias, Amana Lodge, No. 77; Junior Order United American Mechanics, Malaska Council, No. 4, Phillipsburg and Loyal Order of Buffaloes, herd No. 7. He was also a devout member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, Easton.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Lila Gruver, he is survived by three brothers, Irwin, of Phillipsburg; George, of Easton and Robert Gruver, of Stewartsville, and a sister, Mrs. Luther Kinney, of Phillipsburg.
