Robert J. Gruver
Robert J. Gruver, 80, a former resident of Stewartsville who
retired 20 years ago as a millwright at Ingersoll-Rand Co.,
died yesterday in Trenton, N.J.
Mr. Gruver wa born in Bucks county, a son of the late Jeremiah
and Dianne Gruver, but had spent nearly all his life in Warren
county, He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Stewartsville.
His wife, Lillie Mae Smith Gruver died many years ago. Surviving
are two sons, James S. of Easton and Robert B. of Stewartsville;
two daughters, Mrs. Lois Gary of Washington. N.J. and Mrs.
Evelyn Eckhardt, of Phillipsburg; eight grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted o Saturday at 2 p.m. from the
home of the son in Stewartsville. The Rev. Paul W. Hartline,
pastor of First Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment
will be in Stewartsville Lutheran Church. |
