Mrs. Ellen Altemus
Mrs. Ellen, nee Gruber, Altemus, died last night at the home her daughter, Mrs. Spencer Green, 125 Main Street, Emaus, of complications from which she had been ailing for several months, aged 59 years and 9 months.
Deceased was born in Monroe County, there survive three sons, Floyd and Melvin, of Nazareth, Arthur of Saylorsburg and one daughter, Mrs. Spencer Green, of Emaus. One sister, Mrs. Emma Van Buskirk, of Saylorsburg, also survives. There are four grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Green residence, Emaus, with short services on Saturday morning at 11:30 o’clock and regular services and interment at Mt. Eaton Church, Saylorsburg, at 2 o’clock. Rev. Schultz, of Emaus, assisted by Rev. Strausser, of Saylorsburg, will officiate. |
