Claude W. Frankenfield
Claude W. Frankenfield, 67, Wescosville, formerly of 710 N. 11th St., died at 6 p.m. yesterday at home after an illness of a month.
For many years an elevator operator at the Allen Hotel, he worked at the Hotel Traylor after the Allen closed. Two years ago he retired.
His wife, the late Jennie Sarah (Bloch) Frankenfield, died in October. Since then Frankenfield had lived with his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Frankenfield, in Wescosville.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Owls, the Pioneer Fire Company, and Firemen’s Relief. Born in Bellview, Ky., he was the son of the late Harvey D. and Martha (Hoffman) Frankenfield.
His parents, wife, and two brothers, Paul and Robert, preceded Frankenfield in death.
He is survived by his brothers Guy, Wilton, Brooklyn, N.Y., Ira John and George, all of Allentown. |
