George W. Clifton
George W. Clifton, 86 years old, former Easton resident, died on Wednesday
at Mobile, Al. He was a native of this city, a son of the late Alexander
and Sarah Clifton. For a number of years he lived in Church street,
near Fifth and about 40years ago left this city and has since resdied
in teh West and South.
Mr. Clifton is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lillie Fulmer two daughters,
Mrs. Mayme V. Stocker, of Las Vegas, N.M.; Mrs. Lillie D. Newton, of
Butte, Mont., and son Geroge A. Clifton, of Ogden, Utah. He also leaves
numberous nices and nephews in Easton. Interment was at Fairhope, Alabama. |
